On Sunday, October 7th, Nanuet Community Ambulance hosted an Open House event for the community. Throughout the day, members of the community were able to meet both volunteers from the Ambulance Corps. and Nanuet Fire Department. Visitors were able to tour the new, state-of-the-art building, our ambulances, and learn basic skills to assist anyone in the case of a medical emergency. The Fire Department also brought their smoke house to explore. Participants were treated to cotton candy, hot dogs, popcorn, and other treats.
Thank you to all of the members that worked so hard to put this event together, the community for helping us advertise the event, and everyone that took part in a great day!

Our politicians control our demand. They could enact legislation to restrict demand tomorrow: Introduce water saving measures, restrict growth and introduce incentives and policies to conserve, but do they?
No, of course not, they would rather showboat and slam UW, who are doing what the State has mandated.
If our local politicians are serious on this issue, propose real legislation and water conservation measure, not just baseless rebuke of UW.
