Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic Action Fund Congratulates Congresswoman Lowey on Her Re-election

"The Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic Action Fund is delighted that Congresswoman Lowey, a champion for women and women’s health, was re-elected to the U.S.House of Representatives," said Reina Schiffrin, President/CEO of the Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic Action Fund."The Planned Parenthood Action Fund endorsed Congresswoman Lowey and worked to get her re- elected because, throughout her years in Congress, she has fought to protect women’s access to health care and women’s ability to make their own medical decisions. She hasalways stood up to politicians in Washington to launch attacks against women's access to health care.  And we know that she will continue to do so."We are looking forward to continuing to work with Congresswoman Lowey to protect and advance access to comprehensive reproductive health care," Schiffrin continued. Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic ActionFund is an independent, nonpartisan, not-for-profit organization formed as the advocacy and political arm of Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic.  The Action Fund engages in educational and electoral activity, including voter education, grassroots organizing, and legislative advocacy.

This is just ridiculous. There are two aspects to our water. Supply and demand. United WaterRead More control our supply and have been instructed by the NY Public Service Commission to increase our supply. Our politicians control our demand. They could enact legislation to restrict demand tomorrow: Introduce water saving measures, restrict growth and introduce incentives and policies to conserve, but do they? No, of course not, they would rather showboat and slam UW, who are doing what the State has mandated. If our local politicians are serious on this issue, propose real legislation and water conservation measure, not just baseless rebuke of UW.
