RYAN HIDALGO WAR ON CHRISTMAS

As head of the SHOPS OF NANUET, RYAN, now I am curious. Do you even know how to spell CHRISTMAS? You know, the NATIONAL HOLIDAY Of CHRISTMAS? How come we have a Menorah and not a holiday candle? We had a Chanukah Celebration but  no CHRISTMAS celebration? You have a Menorah and not a Nativity scene? What's up Ryan?  Your anti CHRISTIAN bias is showing.

What is about so called Christians like Clewson, that if you don't pay homage to their religion you are anti-Christian. They insist on forcing their beliefs on everyone and demonize those who call for tolerance and consideration of the beliefs of others. We are a secular nation and the great thing is you are free to celebrate the holidays however you like.

Yes you are right, we are free to celebrate however we like....and we do. In this case, I believe Mr Clewson is pointing out that the mall seemed to pay homage to one particular holiday. Christmas seems to be turning into a forbidden word. I don't agree with a lot of what this man posts, but in this case I do. Would have loved to see more of the Christmas spirit at the shops.

Issy Issy Issy...There is still a Religious Menorah (not a holiday candle?) even though Channakahn was over last week but Ni Nativity Scene. Hidalgo is waging a WAR ON CHRISTMAS and that is hurting him BIG TIME. .Word us that because of his unexplainable actions, merchants are losing business...a lot of business. COACH store is EMPTY except for Sales people. No one is shopping there but we have NO PARKING AVAILABLE at the PALISADES MALL where we did all if our shopping.
Charles Clewsow December 22, 2013 at 02:28 PM
YEAH, EXPLAIN that Issy. Why is there still a RELIGOUS Menorah UP IN THE SHOPS, when that holiday was over 10 days ago, and No CRÈCHE when CHRISTMAS is not for three days. What could this HIDALGO GUY be thinking? WAR ON CHRISTMAS being waged by HIDALGO, BIG MISTAKE MR HIDALGO. BIG BIG MISTAKE.

http://www.lohud.com/apps/pbcs.dll/gallery?Avis=BH&Dato=20131222&Kategori=NEWS&Lopenr=312220028&Ref=PH Wonderful. Hey Ryan, did you know that there are a lot of Christians in Rockland? Too bad, you or your store owners will never get the opportunity to meet them as you continue your unexplainable WAR ON CHRISTMAS!!!
Issy December 24, 2013 at 06:38 AM
Wow! Serious this is going to far, your antisemitic rant is disgusting. Thankfully there are real Christians out there who respect the Constitution and people's right to celebrate or not, to decorate how they see fit. The notion that a bigot like you (Clewsow/watchdog) represent anything but a hateful fringe of Christianity is laughable. I would ask that you let Jesus be your guide to morality, not Fox News. Do you really think Jesus would approve of creches at shopping centers? Read your bible and stop with the fake outrage, you look foolish and intolerant. You need to ask for forgiveness.
Charles Clewsow December 25, 2013 at 07:50 AM
The Anti Semetic Card won't work here Issy, so out it back into your deck and remove your holiday candle. xxxxakah was over last week.

" Thankfully there are those....who respect the Constitution and people's right to celebrate or not, to decorate how they see fit.".....Thanks for making my point. A crèche, like the prominent display in the Palisades Mall, would be appropriate. But Ryan Hidalgo, the Manager if the Shops at Nanuet is waging a WAR ON CHRISTMAS exercised his Constitutional right not to put up a Crèche. Masses of Christians disagree with his decision. . BTW did you get approval from Jesus to put up a Religious Holiday Candle? I have no objection to it but it should not be the only religious symbol on display. Pray for more tolerance Issy. Remember CHRISTMAS is a NATIONAL HOLIDAY for a reason. xxxxxakah is a very minor holiday in your religion so the insult to all Christians is apparent and that is really disappointing and disturbing. Please have some respect for Christians on one of their most important holidays. Most Rocklanders of all different faiths do have respect, you are the exception. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL.

Issy, only a coward and a small time punk would accuse someone of anti Semitism and hide under his blanket by using a phony and false name. What are you afraid of Issy? Perhaps those who know you would call you out if you were to use your real name? You have zero credibility. And Issy, you never did explain why the shops allows a religious symbol for a single religion while forbidding to the symbol for a historical occurrence.
Issy December 26, 2013 at 09:15 AM
It is hypocritical of you to ask for respect when you do not respect the faith (or lack) of others. It is common for shops and residences to honor the season with both a Christmas Tree and a Menorah as generic symbols and this is exactly what the Shops at Nanuet have done. And given that they are blasting Christmas music 24 hours you claim of being anti-Christian is just patently ridiculous. I would suggest you actually call Ryan and speak to him, you will find he is a very nice responsible man, but instead you have publicly accuse him of bigotry, which is shameful. I would also point out that there is a lovely creche by the Rotary across the street and yes they still have a menorah up. Are you bitching them out as well for doing so? Pointing out your obvious antisemitism is not playing a card, it is calling you out for what you are, as your complaint is that the shops do not have a creche (just because the mall does) and that they need to remove their menorah. Incidentally if you are referring to that small creche on a card table outside Macy at the mall prominent, then you have a warped prospective.

Hate to inform you, Issy, that "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer" and "Frosty The Snowman" are NOT true Christmas music, per se.
Issy December 30, 2013 at 05:10 PM
Maybe not, but when I was last there they were playing Bing Crosby 'Oh Holy night.......... Fall on your knees Oh hear the angel voices Oh night divine Oh night when Christ was born Oh night divine Oh night Oh night divine Is that good enough for you?

You know i think Rockland county needs to grow up. I do not see residents of bergen argue over which mall does what for christmas, Garden state Plaza Bergen town Center or Paramus Park Mall The residents there fairly enjoy the holidays the decor and shop the malls. Here oh i hate palisades its too bid its this its that. Open your eyes Palisades looks tens times better and a better mix of stores and restaurants than nanuet.Macys Lord and Taylor J.C Penney Dicks sporting goods Burlington Bed bath etc.Christmas is christmas and has been for centuiries. Thanksgiving as well and maybe the stores should take a look what is to be with family and not worry about the sales they will be there the whole month.
