Scholarships Available for Undoing Racism Workshop

Rockland Alliance for Health is partnering with VCS, Inc. to offer financial support to individuals from the health field who wish to participate in the 2 1/2 -day training titled “Undoing Racism Workshop” for the first time. To be eligible for a partial scholarship, you must:

(1)   be working and/or volunteering in a health-related program, organization, or community-based initiative,

(2)   live and/or work in Rockland County, and

(3)   be able to attend the entire training. 

This year, the training will take place on November 8-10, at Rockland Community College located on College Road in Suffern, NY.

If you are interested in applying for a partial scholarship to the training, please visit http://www.rocklandallianceforhealth.org/awards to download an electronic application.  Completed applications must be returned no later than Monday, October 28, 2013 electronically to Rockland Alliance for Health at rafhinfo@gmail.com.  Printed hard copies of completed applications can also be mailed to Rockland Alliance for Health, 339 N. Main Street, Suite 3A, New City, NY 10956.
