A huge fan of “Wheel,” Hodges has been watching the show for more than 20 years, according to Leslie Jacobe, Wheel of Fortune Publicity. When he isn’t working, the FDNY Firefighter enjoys hunting, fishing and scuba diving.

Hodges is married to his wife, Nicole, and they have one son. Hodges said that he received the call to be a contestant while dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, so it was a “pleasant surprise.” He hopes to use his winnings to buy a home or take a vacation.
