Nanuet Civic Association Meeting
It's at 7:15 p.m. at the Nanuet Library this Thursday, May 3
Guest Speaker: Dr. Mark McNeill, Nanuet Superintendant of Schools, will discuss the new budget and other issues involving our schools.
Roberta Bangs will report on the Hi Tor Shelter which is facing an unprecedented crisis and desperately needs support to survive.
Jim Flynn, along with Kim and Krista will update us on: the Highview Playground, Nanuet Chamber of Commerce, and Family Festival 2012 on June 2nd at the Outdoor Education Center (old St Agatha’s).
At least one of our four Legislators usually attend and can speak on the County’s financial woes. Members of the Town Council, Buildings, Highway, Police, and Fire Departments will also be on hand to address our concerns.

The stellar Beatles cover band, Ob-La-Di, will perform a concert complete with archival footage. Proceeds will benefit the charitable works of the Nanuet Rotary Club and . More than 7 million people in 900 communities in the United States will take part in a March for Babies walk this year. The walk raises funds to support programs which help mothers have healthy, full-term pregnancies. The money raised is also used to fund research dedicated to finding answers to hte problems that threaten babies.
