Clarkstown Sunrise Rotary Hosts Super Bowl Breakfast Party

Way before the big game begins on Super Bowl Sunday, festivities will begin in Nanuet to support local charities.

The Clarkstown Sunrise Rotary Club is hosting its 23rd annual Super Bowl pancake breakfast, set for 8 a.m. to noon on Sunday at Rockland Meals On Wheels, 121 West Nyack Road in Nanuet.

The breakfast party is a fundraiser for the Rotary's scholarship fund as will also boost Meals On Wheels and other charities.

Cost: Adults $5, children $3, with kids under 4 free.

Rotary members are getting assistance from student volunteers from nearby Clarkstown South High School in West Nyack.

They could enact legislation to restrict demand tomorrow: Introduce water saving measures, restrict growth and introduce incentives and policies to conserve, but do they? No, of course not, they would rather showboat and slam UW, who are doing what the State has mandated. If our local politicians are serious on this issue, propose real legislation and water conservation measure, not just baseless rebuke of UW.
