The Nanuet Lions will be in front of Stop and Shop in Nanuet starting at 9 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4.
They plan to stay for most of the day and are collecting mostly for Piermont Fire Department so the FD can help those suffering from Hurricane Sandy.
- Baby Items: diapers, formula, food, wipes, etc ...
- Personal Hygiene – travel size items – soap, deodarent, toothpaste/toothbrush, etc ...
- Cleaning supplies — soap, sanitizer, dishclothes/sponges (which can be used)
- Non-perishable food
- Water
- Clothing – which is "going to East Ramapo or People to People," said Barbara Chuck, past president of the Lions.
