All this hot weather can make cooking in the kitchen unbearable sending folks into their backyard for that time honored summer tradition: grilling. Barbeque preferences can be a very personal matter and Patch wants to know what your favorite thing to cook is when you fire up the grill.
Douglas Villari, Nanuet
“I enjoy barbequing a juicy thick steak that I have
marinated overnight to a medium cooked perfection. Second would be chicken breasts marinated overnight as well. Lastly potatoes, covered with olive oil sprinkled with an everything type salt, wrapped in aluminum foil and cooked for about 30 minutes. I barbeque on a small weber charcoal grill, the old fashion way.“
Alla Glikin, Valley Cottage
“Asparagus and skirt steak.”
Ariel Boer, West Nyack
“Asking me my favorite BBQ food isn't fair. Between the juiciest burgers, slow cooked ribs, chicken, glorious kebabs, and all the rest of that meaty goodness, I honestly couldn't choose. I'm like a kid trying to pick out one piece of candy, it's just too hard!”
Justin Ames, New City
“I like everything, especially ribs.”
Eric Thomas, Valley Cottage
“I find that good steaks and burgers are the best for BBQs”
