Home Aides of Rockland to Hold Fund Raising Gala
Local Not-for-profit home healthcare agency event features a unique Bal Masqué, or Masquerade Ball, to raise funds for home care programs in Rockland County.
Home Aides of Rockland will hold a Bal Masqué Fund Raising Gala on FridaySaturday, October 6, 2012 from 7-11 pm at the Crowne Plaza of Suffern.
The event will raise much-needed funds to support the organization’s home care services, which includes the Reduced Rate Home Care Program. This program makes vital home health care services accessible to those who are not eligible for Medicaid, yet lack the financial resources to afford care without some assistance.
Cecilia Halverson, Executive Director of Home Aides says, “Our Bal Masqué party is a brief escape into a magical evening. Unlike the typical fundraising dinner with many speeches, this event is about having fun, which is why it is being held on a Saturday night. Attendees will be able to dance the night away, all for an important cause.”
The evening’s entertainment includes live music from Xcalibur, a band that plays rock hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s, dancing, jugglers, card readers, dance performances and a mystery auction.
Tickets: $125 *$60 of each ticket is tax-deductible as provided by law
Date: Saturday, October 6, 2012
