New Bonefish Grill Partners With American Cancer Society

Bonefish Grill is partnering with the American Cancer Society as part of the grand opening festivities for its newest location at The Shops At Nanuet. The restaurant is hosting a Charity Night on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. with fresh seafood, cocktails, and music.

“As a team, we are very excited to become active in the Nanuet community through our work with the local chapter of the American Cancer Society," said Dennis Owens, managing partner of the new Bonefish Grill location, which will open its doors to the public on Monday, October 14. “Our partnership with the American Cancer Society is a first step toward building a foundation of goodwill and fostering local relationships, which we look forward to continuing long after we open our doors.”

Guests will be able to sample Bonefish Grill’s house specialty Bang Bang Shrimp, Ahi Tuna Sashimi, PEI Mussels Josephine and “American Style” Kobe Beef Burgers along with specialty martinis and cocktails.

“This is a great opportunity for individuals to enjoy a fun evening out, while supporting the American Cancer Society’s mission to save lives from cancer,” said Jennifer Nulle, director of special events, Eastern Division, American Cancer Society, Inc. “The funds we raise will support life-saving cancer research and provide patient services, such as Hope Lodge, Road to Recovery, and Look Good…Feel Better.”

The new restaurant at 2142 Fashion Drive in Nanuet will  seating capacity for approximately 210 patrons, including 70 in the bar area and an outside patio will accommodate 24. It will feature a spacious dining room and a  bar with community tables and music. The interior design showcases an array of three-dimensional art, ranging from large-scale metal sculptures of mangroves and fishing scenes to a large mystical fish rubbing.

Dinner will be served seven days a week: Monday through Thursday, from 4 to 10:30 p.m., on Friday from 4 to 11:30 p.m., on Saturday from 3 to 11:30 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.  Sunday. Brunch is offered from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

In 13 years, the Bonefish Grill family has grown to 188 restaurants specializing in market fresh fish from around the world.

The American Cancer Society is a global grassroots force of more than three million volunteers saving lives that are by cancer in every community. As the largest voluntary health organization, the Society's efforts have contributed to a 20 percent decline in cancer death rates in the U.S. since 1991, and a 50 percent drop in smoking rates.
