Calling All Brides—Sunday: Rockland Bridal Show

It's on April 15 from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Are you a future bride, know someone who is or just plain love weddings? The Palisades Center is hosting the third annual Rockland Bridal Show this Sunday, April 15, from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Future brides, engaged couples, friends and families should come out and browse more than 25 vendors, all related to either the wedding, honeymoon or new home needs. It's a one-stop-comparison-shop for wedding products and services from photographers, DJ, florist, cakes, invitations, insurance, catering halls, spas, cosmetic, jewelers, to honeymoons.

Preview the newest wedding trends and gift registry ideas; see the latest styles, sample gourmet cuisines and wedding cakes.  There will be a live fashion show by Camille LaVie, a ballroom dancing, DJ performances, demonstrations and prize giveaways throughout the day (you must be present to win).

Brides can register at www.rocklandbridalshows.com and the first 150 pre-registered brides get a bridal bag worth $150 of gifts. Although they don't have to register, brides are encouraged to bring friends and family.

This is just ridiculous. There are two aspects to our water. Supply and demand. United WaterRead More control our supply and have been instructed by the NY Public Service Commission to increase our supply. Our politicians control our demand. They could enact legislation to restrict demand tomorrow: Introduce water saving measures, restrict growth and introduce incentives and policies to conserve, but do they? No, of course not, they would rather showboat and slam UW, who are doing what the State has mandated. If our local politicians are serious on this issue, propose real legislation and water conservation measure, not just baseless rebuke of UW.
