Leader Carpet in Nanuet hosted a block party on Saturday in the store’s parking lot, with proceeds going to People to People, the county’s largest food pantry. The Mighty Spectrum Band performed multiple sets during the block party, which also featured food from American Burrito in New City, Cacciatori Pizza in Nanuet and more. There was face painting, a clown and more. The store was also selling $10 raffle tickets for a chance to win a HGTV’s Taniya Nayak courtesy of Leader Carpet.
