Nanuet Beer Shop Prepares For Grand Opening (VIDEO)

After a soft opening back in October, The Growler & Gill Craft Beer Shoppe is hosting its official grand opening celebration on Saturday from 4 - 11 p.m.

Nanuet's Mike and Doreen Fitzgerald teamed up with co-owner Walt Mihatov to bring a unique business to Rockland County and the Hudson Valley. "It's like a Starbucks for beer."

"Although we opened in October, our grand opening is this Saturday. We would like to welcome the community in for our official grand opening celebration. We've worked hard to get all the finishing touches in place and are looking forward to being part of the community and offer a unique experience to everyone that comes through our doors," said Fitzgerald. "Enjoy our 16 craft beers on tap and great food and everyone that comes in will get one free drink."

Mike Naclerio and Mark Salerno are the two Beer Geeks at Growler & Gill. Beer Geeks and Beer Specialists help educate people on the world of craft beers and help people understand the beer selection. 

“It’s a library of different beers from around the world and these beer geeks are like librarians to help you find something that meets your taste," said Fitzgerald.
