Readers' Choice Winner: Palisades Center

The business that won the vote in the Patch "Readers Choice" Best Place for where to go on a rainy day.

 

With the rain this week, Patch wanted to ask our readers where their go-to place is on a rainy day

And the winner is: the  in West Nyack.

Located in West Nyack, the Palisades Center is a mall offering a wide variety of shopping, dining and entertainment options.

The mall features such stores as Home Depot, Macy's, BJs, JCPenney and Target, as well as an AMC Theater and a number of family restaurants, including Chili's, Outback Steakhouse and TGI Friday's.

The Palisades Center also hosts a variety of events on holidays and other special occasions such as a recent .

This is just ridiculous. There are two aspects to our water. Supply and demand. United WaterRead More control our supply and have been instructed by the NY Public Service Commission to increase our supply. Our politicians control our demand. They could enact legislation to restrict demand tomorrow: Introduce water saving measures, restrict growth and introduce incentives and policies to conserve, but do they? No, of course not, they would rather showboat and slam UW, who are doing what the State has mandated. If our local politicians are serious on this issue, propose real legislation and water conservation measure, not just baseless rebuke of UW.
