Regal Cinemas Nanuet Plans Employee Casting Call Ahead Of November Opening

Regal Nanuet Stadium 12 & RPX is moving to the next phase of hiring employees with a casting call job fair and interviews taking place on October 19th, 20th and 21st.

General Manager Abel Perez said the movie theater will employ 80 floor staff members and six associate managers in its soon to be opening location at the Shops At Nanuet and urged interested individuals to apply online at https://forms.regmovie.com/apply

Perez said the movie theater would open ahead of the busy holiday movie season.

“We intend to host moviegoers with a Grand Opening date of November 7th for the highly anticipated Thor: The Dark World,” he said.

The theater offers flexible work schedules and free movies.

“Our industry does have busy seasons and less busy ones depending on the popularity of the various movies,” Perez said.  “We keep our schedules flexible and will discuss what’s available to potential applicants individually at the time they apply.”

He said Regal did not participate on the Shops At Nanuet Jobs Fair in August because it is opening on a slightly different schedule from other tenants. Salary and hourly wages will depend on an individual’s experience. Regal’s hours of operation can change depending upon the time of year. It may begin showing movies at 10 a.m. some days or remain open for a midnight movie showing.

According to Regal, “Guests at the 12-screen Regal Cinemas theaters at The Shops At Nanuet will enjoy a custom-built premium environment featuring elegant and luxurious seats with high-back headrests, a giant immersive screen illuminated by high-quality digital projectors and completed with a 9.1 pinpoint surround sound system. The RPX (Regal Premium Experience) concept presents movies in the way filmmakers intended with powerful, uncompressed surround sound and bright eye-popping images in 2D and RealD 3D.”

Regal Entertainment Group is the largest movie theater owner in the United States with 7,334 screens in 575 theatres in 42 states along with Guam, Saipan, American Samoa and the District of Columbia. In 2012 more than 216 million people attended movies at Regal Cinemas.
