Show Filmed at Nanuet Shops to Air Tonight

The show Stalked is in its third season on Investigation Discovery. Scenes were shot at Nanuet Restaurant and the Flower Peddler.

Back in September, TV crews set up shop at two Nanuet businesses. Investigation Discovery channel was filming an episode at the Nanuet Restaurant and the Flower Peddler. They were there for just one day.

“The show is called Stalked. We’re filming the third season on Investigation Discovery right now,” said Melissa Kovner of Atlas Media Corp. “It’s a recreation drama show, (based off of true events).” The reenactments are also to raise awareness about the issues of stalking and anti-stalking legislation across the country.

“It’s about a waitress that gets stalked in the restaurant,” said Chamberlain. “They contacted me. We’re closed on Mondays so it worked out perfectly."

The 30-minute episode 'Toxic Love' airs Wednesday night at 9 p.m. According to ID's website, here's a synopsis of the episode:

Robin is a friendly waitress who catches the eye of a handsome customer. But after they begin a relationship, his twisted need for control bubbles to the surface. Now, Robin must find a way to escape a boyfriend who is hell-bent on destroying her.

This was the first time Nanuet Restaurant Owner Mary Chamberlain has allowed filming at her restaurant. Check out this Patch article to hear more from the people involved the day of the filming.

After the filming, ID reached out to Nanuet Flower Peddler owner Glenn Weiser asking to film an episode of Frenemies at his Pearl River home. They filmed yesterday, Tuesday and the episode will air in March, said Weiser.

About Stalked

From obsessed former lovers to unrelenting acquaintances fueled by the thrill of the chase, stalkers can have a range of motivations, but all instill a perpetual fear within their victims. Stalked: Someone's Watching profiles an all new season of emotional stories of stalking victims and explores the twisted psychology of the people who relentlessly pursued them.

The first season is on Netflix.

Can you tell me exactly where in this episode there is anything to do with a flower shop? I watched this episode twice and saw no trace of this business in Nanuet.

In regard to the restaurant location. The woman being stalked changed jobs and after this, they still show her working at the original restaurant. I guess they figure people don't pay attention to details like this.

An issues conference will be a wast of time and money. So many ' issues ' have been pulled out ofRead More thin air. The people who organized against the plant will just keep saying the same thing. No amount of info will be enough, no answer will be accepted. The issues conference will be a circus of endless questions, ideas, and demands. Haverstraw bay reclassified as drinking water will better protect it, provide an endless supply of water and finally help end the stereotype of the Hudson being polluted Recommend

UW is by far the cheapest utility we have delivering clean water to my family for over 35 years. IRead More can live without cable which costs $160 a month but not without water at about $50 a month. Thank you Mr. Pointing.

Mr. Pointing, I appreciate your clearing this matter up. Too often the Water Company s cast as theRead More Villian by the Press and it is best to nip it in the bud with true facts.

I see your point isnt so much about what they are spending it on, but the process that they followedRead More to get to this point, but are they getting generators for the street lights on main street or the traffic signals? Seems like a project that is way out of control, who has gone to these community centers during storms anyway. All I have ever read about was people charging cell phones at the community centers. Good Job Pat.
