Tomorrow: Nanuet Gym Celebrates 10 Years

10 years is a great milestone for many businesses and tomorrow marks that anniversary for Premier Fitness in Nanuet. They're celebrating with an open house all day on Tuesday—8 a.m.-8 p.m. During the open house, there will be food, special classes, discounts and a membership sale.

"Stop by and check us out. We'll have food and coffee all day," said Co-owner Brian Fahrenfeld. "Everything is on sale: training, massages, membership."

Available through Tuesday, gym membership Friends & Family Special is being offered for $348 for 18 months, which comes out to $19 a month. 

"This is our lowest rate in 10 years. Members have a chance to resign at this lower rate," said Fahrenfeld. "Our gym is affordable and has been keeping Rockland fit for 10 years. I want to thank all of our members for their loyalty and what makes us different is that we see and talk to our members."

Those interested in the many fitness classes offered at Premier Fitness can include them by adding $10/month. The enrollment fee is also only $10 right now. 

"In all businesses, you have to get over the 7-year hump. Unfortunately, that seventh year was during the economic (decline). We fought our way through that the last three years. We're still here and hope to be here another 10 years," said Fahrenfeld. "The reason we survive is because we're different. We offer everything under one roof."

One of their vendors set up shop on Monday and will also be there on Tuesday for the Open House.
