With the work week nearing its end, check out this list of just a few things you can do around the county this weekend.

1 - Moonlite Bowl Fundraiser

  • When/Where: Friday night at 9:30 p.m. at Hi Tor Lanes in West Haverstraw
  • Why Go: Enjoy some moonlite bowling while helping to raise money for victims of the West Haverstraw gas explosion.
  • Pricing: $25 per person


2 - Valentine’s Dance Party

  • When/Where: Saturday night at 10 p.m. at Jimmy’s on Main in Nanuet
  • Why Go: Valentine’s Day might’ve been on Tuesday, but you can still celebrate it with a dance party this weekend.
  • Pricing: No cover charge, cash bar


3 - Vinyl Record Sale

  • When/Where: Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Vinyl Lounge in Nyack
  • Who Go: Nyack’s newest record store will have items on sale from other vendors this weekend and will be raffling off prizes.
  • Pricing: Free entry


4 - Loretta Hagen CD Release Party

  • When/Where: Sunday at 2 p.m. at the New City Volunteer Ambulance Corps
  • Why Go: Celebrate the release of folk singer Loretta Hagen’s third CD and catch her perform live
  • Pricing: $20, $15 for members of The Borderline Folk Music Club


5 - Traditional Irish Music Session

  • When/Where: Sunday 5 p.m. at Emmett's Castle in Pearl River
  • Why Go: Participate in or simply listen to some live traditional Irish music
  • Pricing: Free
