STAC WELCOMES DANA SAMKO AS NEW ADMISSIONS COUNSELOR

St. Thomas Aquinas College recently appointed Dana Samko to the position of Admissions Counselor, announced Dr. Bart Grachan, director of Admissions.

Samko (Hasbrouck Heights, NJ) graduated from the honors program at St. Thomas Aquinas with a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and adolescence education from St. Thomas Aquinas College.  She earned a Master of Arts in counseling with a concentration in student affairs in higher education from Montclair State University (NJ).  In her new role, Samko will be responsible for recruiting undergraduate students, reviewing applications from her territory and working with accepted students and their families on the admissions and financial aid processes.  She will also assist in the coordination of various campus events hosted by the Admissions Team.

“Dana has assumed a strong supporting role for prospective STAC students in her new position as Admissions Counselor,” Grachan said.  “She will represent the College throughout various parts of New York City and assist in driving initiatives to enroll students.  We’re happy to have Dana as a key member of our Admissions Team,” Grachan added.
