Day vs. Fried Comments

For the last two days, I have been trying to respond to comments that were posted on my Day vs. Fried article.  The Patch has been having a glitch with their system, so I will respond via blog.

"I am Legend" and "Sigmund Freud" ( same person ) posted some clip from a news story apparently written by Meredyth Glover.  The story has me telling Ms. Glover that the house proposal over the summer for 129 Lakewood Drive in Congers was for a three-family house.  Legend and Freud asked why I lied to Ms. Glover.  My answer is simple, I have never met or spoken with anyone named Meredyth Glover ( if she even exists ).  The news source that provided this supposed quote isn't even furnished!  Freud/Legend has seen my email blasts in the past and fully understand that 400 people showed up at that zoning hearing that night because the proposal was atrocious!  I have always made it unequivocally clear that the proposal was for a grossly oversized SINGLE FAMILY private dwelling which was asking for three variances due to land encroachment problems.  Freud/Legend- let it go.  This is old news.  The proposal was denied by the zoning board by a 7-0 vote!  If you are still concerned, then maybe you should try to contact Ms. Glover ( again, only do this if she really exists ) and ask her how she practices journalism.  Then ask her if she has ever spoken to me.  The answer will be " no ".  Finally, this will be the first and last time that I will be responding to you and all of the aliases that you use.  Good night to- Sigmund Freud, I am Legend, Jonathan Swift, Discreet Extractor, White-tee Pete, I am Congaloid, Clarkstown Dad, Mary Frances, Henrietta Sanchez, Lady Madonna, I am broken arm swinger, I am woman hear me roar and any new ones that you may come up with.  PEACE!!

Lilana Connor- I will now curb my sarcasm because you seem to be a concerned voter.  You say that one of your core values is environmental concerns.  If that is the case, then you should be rushing to the polls on election day to vote for Ed Day.  Ed has just released a comprehensive anti-overdevelopment plan.  The plan places heavy scrutiny on developers that try to circumvent our zoning laws.  Ed was also the only elected leader that showed up to a Patrick Farm hearing and called the proposal an " abomination ".  Finally, you said you will never vote for a republican!  That is precisely why you have an opportunity to vote for him on the PreserveRockland line.  Our symbol is a tree!  I've stated this many times, local elected leaders don't govern based on traditional party philosophies.  We have carefully interviewed all of our PreserveRockland candidates.  PreserveRockland is not affiliated with any established political parties!  We select our candidates based on the concept of whom is best qualified to solve our massive problems.  This is an exceptional opportunity that we are providing for the voters this year.  Please consider it.  They will be the best votes that you have ever cast.
