Three Ways to Woo Your Sweetie on Valentine's Day with Chocolate

Present your sweetie with a memorable Valentine's Day gift with these creative ideas from Debbie Bertrand of Lucas Candies.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and it is a known fact that if you don’t have something for your sweetheart, you are in big trouble. Chocolate is the gift of choice during this holiday, but to totally win over your sweetie’s heart present them with some chocolate gifts that they will never forget. Try these three creative ideas to make your honey smile this Valentine’s Day.

Surprise him or her with a bouquet of chocolate flowers. Be creative and place edible flowers in a vase or present them in a classic flower box-- they can be both admired, and devoured!

Assemble an artful gift basket. Combine Valentine’s Day Chocolate treats, such as a classic box of chocolates, some champagne,  candles to light up the night and maybe a pair of tickets to a sporting event or a Broadway show. Ask yourself what does he/she like? When you make it personal, it shows how much you care. Presentation is everything, so put the time in to how you design your basket, as much as what's in it.

Create something simple and homemade, like chocolate covered strawberries or homemade chocolate chip cookies for your love to enjoy. To make the present a little bit sweeter, buy all the ingredients, and place them in an artful gift basket with a personal note. Dipping strawberries with a glass of champagne, or mixing cookie dough and adding the chocolate chips is a lovely evening event for two.

These thoughtful ideas will definitely create a memorable day for you and your sweetie. Happy Valentine’s Day from Debbie Bertrand at Lucas Candies
