Community Update

My friend got locked in the store bathroom for 25 mins on 4/19/14 at 52 Rockland Plaza (store 3699 - Nanuet, NY). The asst. manager Joanna G was horrible in handling the problem. She was nasty as if it was my friends fault and only agreed to break the bathroom door after my friend starting crying and I told her I was calling the fire department and it was a health hazard by friend was locked behind a bathroom door for nearly 27 mins. Joanna got upset and lacked professionalism and said she does not need to apologize for the incident. She yelled at us and said, accidents do happen and it is not the store fault and rolled her eyes at us and other customers came up to us giving us support for the way she treated her customers. I told Joanna she needs better leadership skills to deal with customers and she yelled she is fine. I will report this situation to the store manager Matt and follow up with a lawyer, since my friend had to seek medical attention for heart problems and stress following the stress of getting locked in bathroom and getting yelled at and embarrassed by the asst. manage Joann who mistreats customers and lack problem solving skills/decision making skills, and have poor communication skills. Joanna G. needs to be fired and is a liability to your Dollar Tree Stores company.
