Day Trip to the NY Historical Society with the HSRC

The Historical Society of Rockland County Invites You to Join Us on a Day Trip to Visit the New-York Historical Society

Date:  February 1, 2014
Time:  Leaves the Historical Society at 9 am and returns at 5 pm
Price: $99 per person ($89 for HSRC Members), includes bus transportation, docent guided tours, gourmet luncheon, and all-museum pass.

Leave the driving, tolls, and parking to us!

Join us as we visit the New-York Historical Society. We will begin with a guided tour of "The Armory Show at 100: Art and Revolution," featuring works by Duchamp, Matisse, Picasso, Cézanne, Gauguin, and Van Gogh. The exhibition revisits the famous 1913 New York Armory Show, organized by a small group of American artists that included Rockland County’s Arthur B. Davies, on its 100th anniversary. Please note that this exhibition ends on February 23, 2014.  After lunch, enjoy a self-guided tour of the retrospective exhibition "Clarice Smith: Recollections of a Life in Art" and browse the museum at your own pace.

Additional information and a PDF reservation form are available at WWW.ROCKLANDHISTORY.ORG. Space for this bus trip is limited, and payment must be received by JANUARY 20, 2014. Please note:  Refunds will only be given if space can be filled by another guest prior to trip. A waiting list will be compiled, and available spaces will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Only those who have made full payment will be accommodated.
