i9 Sports youth flag football and soccer leagues are all about safety, fun and sportsmanship! Our goal is to make sure everyone plays and has a good time throughout the season. Our programs are centrally and conveniently accessible from Suffern, Stony Point, Nyack, Pearl River, Spring Valley, and many other Rockland communities.

How is flag football played and what is the league
philosophy?

The league is a well-organized national program emphasizing football education, participation and sportsmanship. Most importantly, everyone gets to play!

Here are additional benefits of i9 Sports Flag Football:

~ Flag Football offers continuous action and uses minimal equipment, which is limited to flag belts and mouth guards. (Cleats are recommended)

~ The game emphasizes
basic football skills including passing, catching, defending, and running.

~ Participants learn about formations, pass patterns, and
different types of defenses.

~ Running and passing plays are allowed, and
the defense can cover receivers, rush the passer and grab the flag to make "tackles."


 


How is our Instructional Soccer taught and what is the league philosophy?
The league is a well-organized national program emphasizing Soccer education, participation,sportsmanship and fun. Most importantly, everyone gets to play!


Here are benefits of i9 Sports Soccer Leagues:

~ Soccer offers continuous action and uses minimal equipment, which is limited to the use of shin guards (mandatory) and mouth guards. (Cleats are
recommended)

~ The game emphasizes basic soccer skills
including dribbling, passing, receiving,
defending, foot work, running and shooting.


When are the games played?
Our season starts on April 6th and runs through May 18th. The season has a length of seven (7) weeks.




What time are practices and games played?
Practice and games take place every Saturday and start between 10am-1pm. Your assigned team will practice for 30 - 45 minutes and play for approximately 45 minutes each weekend.

The approximate start times and approximate age groups
for flag football are:
~ Pee Wees (4-5 year olds) 10am - 11am
~ Juniors (6-8 year olds) 11am - 12pm
~ Seniors (9-12 year olds) 12pm - 2pm


The approximate start times and approximate age groups for soccer are below:
~ Pee Wees (4-5 year olds) 11am-2pm
~ Juniors (6-9 year olds) 12pm-3pm

Game starting times may vary each week and will conclude 1.5 hours after the starting time officially scheduled.


Can I play both Flag Football & Soccer?
Yes. The instructional Soccer league for ages 4-9 will begin later in the morning, so that children can play in both leagues without a time conflict.

What is included in the league
fee?


~ A 7 week season which includes a clinic and six regular season games.

~ Flag Football jerseys and flag belts will be provided, plus a football for each team.  Soccer jerseys are provided for each player.

~ An i9 Sports participant medal which will be awarded to
each player at the end of the season.

~ Trained officials for all games and
certified volunteer coaches.

~ An awesome interactive website featuring
online registration, schedules, team standings, and
pictures.

1) If paid In Full By January 8th, 2013, Fee is $145.00,
Save $20.00

2) If paid In Full By February 8th, 2013, Fee is $155.00, Save $10.00

3) If paid in Full By March 8th, 2013, Fee is $165.00

4) If paid After March 10th, Late Fee is: $175 (Space is not guaranteed)
