Many adolescents and adults with ADHD are perceptive, kinesthetic learners. The practice of yoga teaches skills that strengthen organization, time/self management, and motivation. Join Christina Young, yoga teacher and personal coach at the Hallowell Center, for an all-level hatha yoga workshop designed to help you take yoga “off the mat.” You will learn mindfulness techniques and do-anywhere poses designed to boost your energy and attention when it’s most needed. A great introduction to yoga, or a fresh perspective for your practice.
Christina Young is a nationally certified counselor, coach, and yoga teacher. As a personal coach for the Hallowell Center, she specializes in helping adolescents and adults with ADHD improve organizational skills, motivation, and performance while increasing self-esteem and confidence. Christina has ten years of experience teaching yoga to adolescents and adults in studio classes, private lessons, and at workshops at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Lenox, MA.
