The Counselor's Case Book Supporting the Emotionally Disturbed Student

Have you ever wondered what actually takes place in a counseling session?   If you have the Counselor's Casebook may be a way for you to find out.


While maintaining strict confidentiality, counseling professors at LIU Hudson's Campus at Rockland have abstracted essential components of intersting and illustrative cases they have counseled.


February 11th - Supporting the Emotionally Disturbed Student.  Prof. Travis Jackson - will focus on taking a middle school child through the Committee on Special Education process from start to finish in order to get the student the therapeutic and educational support he/she requires.

The Counselor's Casebook is open to professional counselors, graduate students, and by special arrangement undergraduate students.
