First Annual Walk for the Animals to Benefit Efforts to Rebuild Hi Tor Animal Shelter

Pet Lovers from the Hudson Valley and elsewhere in the

Tri-State region will be converging on Rockland Lake State Park on Sunday

August 18 for the first annual Walk for the Animals to benefit the ongoing

efforts to rebuild the Hi Tor Animal Shelter, currently located in Pomona, NY.

The Hi Tor Shelter is in a state of total disrepair. It

needs to be completely demolished and rebuilt into a state-of-the-art facility,

capable of providing quality care to the great numbers of unwanted animals in

search of new forever homes.

 TO REGISTER: Please see  www.rebuildhitor.org>

for more information on ongoing efforts to rebuild the Hi-Tor Shelter. Local businesses are sponsoring this event. We hope for significant local media coverage to help spread the word on behalf of this worthy local cause.
