Nanuet Civic Association Monthly Meeting

The next meeting of the Nanuet Civic Association will be at 7:15 PM on Thursday October 3rd in the Community room(2nd floor) of  the Nanuet Public Library on Church Street in Nanuet.

The election season is upon us. The Nanuet Civic Association will form a Nominating Committee to elect a new Board.  ANYONE INTERESTED IN SERVING ON THE BOARD SHOULD BE AT THE MEETING, CONTACT A BOARD MEMBER, OR COMMITTEE PERSON. 

• Ryan Hidalgo ( Shops at Nanuet Manager) will make a return visit.
• Harold Straut will give us the results of the Firehouse Bond vote.
• Jim Flynn will instruct the membership on the importance of updating STAR. Jim is also our expert on taxes, school issues, zoning, and community issues.

            It being the season; many political hopefuls will be on hand. As is customary, we respect all of our candidates but discourage electioneering by our  guests. Everybody will be introduced and have a few minutes to speak ( it’s sometimes hard to limit political aspirants, we ask that they respect our time constraints)

As usual , Legislators/Councilmen/Police/Highway/Fire Departments will be on hand to answer questions.
