Clarkstown Holiday Celebration at Nanuet H.S.

Supervisor Alex Gromack, the Town Board and the Parks Board and Recreation Commission of Clarkstown invite all residents to come enjoy the town’s annual Independence Day fireworks and concert.  The Town is co-sponsoring the event with Tilcon, Provident Bank, Hartford Life Insurance Company and United Water.

The Highview Playground will also be at the festival selling glow sticks, necklaces, rings and bracelets to benefit the rebuilding of their playground.

“We’ve planned an evening full of fun activities and great entertainment for all our Clarkstown families and friends to experience on this Independence Day Weekend.  It’s sure to be an enjoyable event for all,” said Supervisor Alex Gromack.

The night will consist of the following activities for all those in attendance to enjoy:

  • 6pm – 9pm – Inflatable Bouncers
  • 7:15pm – 7:45pm – Rockland County Radio Control Club flying demonstration
  • 7:45pm – Skydivers Expedition
  • 8:00pm – Concert by “The 1910 Fruitgum Company”
  • Fireworks to follow concert
  • Refreshments are available for purchase

Please note if there is rain, the concert will be moved inside Nanuet High School Auditorium on June 30, 2011 and the fireworks rain date is Wednesday, July 6th at Nanuet High School.
