What's Going On: Announcements You May Have Missed
Here are some of the bulletins uploaded to Patch this week in our communities.
- Flu Vaccine Clinics. The Rockland County Health Department posted a list of flu vaccine clinics scheduled from Oct. 1-Nov. 15.
- Adina's Angels Dance with Friends of Karen. Paula Berkowitz continues to raise money for Friends of Karen with The Adina’s Angels Fund. Tickets for “Dance The Night Away For Adina’s Angels” Oct. 12 are $125, and include cocktail hour, dinner, silent auction, raffles and live DJ music. The event takes place at LIFE…The Place To Be, 2 Lawrence St., Ardsley.
- Pride of Rockland Award. The Rockland Community Foundation's annual benefit is Oct. 24. Visit www.RocklandGives.org to purchase tickets, place an ad in our virtual journal, or to learn more.
- Youth for Hospice. The Tappan Zee High School satellite group sold notecards and bracelets at the Blauvelt Sons of Italy Italian Feast and raised $240 for United Hospice of Rockland.
