Hi-Tor's Pets of the Week: Majic and Knuckles

Each week we highlight another wonderful adoptable pet available at Hi-Tor Animal Care Center (Rockland County's only animal shelter) located in Pomona, NY.

This week we are featuring dual Pets of the Week: Majic and Knuckles! These young cats are brothers, and we prefer they be adopted together. Around 1 year old, their white and gray tabby coats nicely complement each other: Majic’s is mostly white, whereas Knuckles’ coat is mostly gray.

These little cuties arrived in November of last year and are a joy to watch playing with staff and visitors. Majic is quite mellow and outgoing, has a mighty purr, and loves being handled. His bro, while just as mellow, is a bit more reserved. Both are well behaved when left on their own and fine with other cats, kittens, dogs or children. To adopt, please contact Hi-Tor Animal Care Center, 65 Firemens Memorial Drive, Pomona, NY. (845) 354-7900.

This is just ridiculous. There are two aspects to our water. Supply and demand. United WaterRead More control our supply and have been instructed by the NY Public Service Commission to increase our supply. Our politicians control our demand. They could enact legislation to restrict demand tomorrow: Introduce water saving measures, restrict growth and introduce incentives and policies to conserve, but do they? No, of course not, they would rather showboat and slam UW, who are doing what the State has mandated. If our local politicians are serious on this issue, propose real legislation and water conservation measure, not just baseless rebuke of UW.

He originally attempted to text the announcement to a bunch of youths, but he mistakenly sent it toRead More senior citizens.
