Thanksgiving Creative Showcase Open To Students

Senator David Carlucci (D, New City) invites elementary school students in kindergarten through sixth grade to participate in this year’s New York State Senate Thanksgiving Day Creative Celebration showcase. Participating students will be able to showcase their drawings, poetry or essays in a published online book that will be free to download after the holiday.

The theme for this year’s submissions is "What are you thankful for?" To contribute to the Thanksgiving Day Showcase book, go to: carlucci.nysenate.gov to complete the registration form and upload a poem, essay, or art work. Students have until November 20th to submit their entries.

"This is a wonderful time of year for families to come together and express what they are thankful for with their loved ones," said Carlucci. "I urge all students to add their creative contributions to this online book and make it a memorable souvenir for years to come."
