Spring is here and so are the home buyers.
Once you have made the decision, to buy a home, take the time to prepare before you go on your home search. It is very tempting to rush out and actually look at houses, but to do so without full preparation can be both costly and a waste of your time.
1: Get your financials in order first! This will not only give you a clear idea of how much a lender will approve for you, it will make your home buying process a great deal easier and save a lot of time later.
2: Get familiar with the different house types available to narrow your search.
3: Get together a list of your needs and wants, as well as the things you don’t want in a home.
4: Determine the desired location (what schools, how close to work and public transportation, etc.)
5: Choose an agent who you feel will best meet your needs and who can professionally guide you through the buying process.
