About CPS-3: CPS-3 will help researchers better understand the lifestyle, environmental, and genetic factors that cause or prevent cancer. This study provides an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for people who are looking forward to the day when cancer is a thing of the past. To enroll in the study, individuals must register at www.cps3hudsonvalley.org.

After selecting the date and time to enroll, the individual will then be emailed a detailed questionnaire that will take about 45 minutes to complete. On the day of enrollment, bring the certificate of completion to the enrollment site, where you will fill out basic demographic information, provide a waist measurement, and give a small blood sample. Walk-ins the day of enrollment are welcome and will be mailed the questionnaire to complete and mail back. Over the course of the study, participants will be asked to fill out follow-up surveys every few years.
