Poll: Best Pizza in Nanuet and Pearl River

Nominate your favorite places for our informal showdown

Correction: The second phase of voting to narrow down the top six picks will be based on the comments section and the poll will be the tie breaker.

The border rivalry goes way back between Nanuet and Pearl River. There are a lot of good pizza places in both towns and Pearl River Patch editor Ryan Buncher and I want to know which one you think is the top pick among the non-chain places.

Here's how it works:

Vote in the Poll and explain your vote in the comments section below. We'll take these until 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Thursday morning, we'll post the top six picks and a poll. Post your vote in the comment section and vote in the poll as well. In the event of a tie in comments, the poll results will be used as a tie breaker. We'll take votes until 5 p.m. on Friday, and the winner will be announced on Monday morning.

We encourage you to share this contest on your Twitter or Facebook feed, especially if you're pulling for a certain restaurant.

Vote for your favorite place in the survey below and don't forget to click on the links below and rate the store on the Patch Place Listing. You can even leave a review.

Please let us know why you think your choice is the best. So without further ado, here are the places seeking your nominees!

This is just ridiculous. There are two aspects to our water. Supply and demand. United WaterRead More control our supply and have been instructed by the NY Public Service Commission to increase our supply. Our politicians control our demand. They could enact legislation to restrict demand tomorrow: Introduce water saving measures, restrict growth and introduce incentives and policies to conserve, but do they? No, of course not, they would rather showboat and slam UW, who are doing what the State has mandated. If our local politicians are serious on this issue, propose real legislation and water conservation measure, not just baseless rebuke of UW.

He originally attempted to text the announcement to a bunch of youths, but he mistakenly sent it toRead More senior citizens.
