Under your theory the media could not publish a story on anyone who was arrested until conviction. First, once arrested all information is public record and can be sealed after aquittal and second, without stories on arrests until convicted your daily newspaper would be pretty thin.

If we could only put this type of effort into knocking out all the drug dealing going on now in Rockland. Might make more sense. Seriously, do any of you out there know any 20 year old who has not ever drank a beer? Thats not the big crime; the drug dealing is!
