Bank Theft, DWI: Rockland Court Report

Doniell Wright, 51, of Spring Valley was indicted by a Rockland County Grand Jury on September 11 on two felony counts of Driving While Intoxicated, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Circumvention of Ignition Interlock Device. The defendant, who had two previous DWI convictions in the Town of Clarkstown in 2004 and 2007, was stopped on January 19 at approximately 3:10 a.m. by a New York State trooper. 

Wright reportedly failed multiple field sobriety tests and had a blood alcohol content of .16%. Further investigation showed that Wright’s license was revoked and his vehicle was not equipped with the required ignition interlock device.

Yousef Nazir, 36, of Orangeburg  was indicted for Grand Larceny in the Third Degree. Rockland District Attorney Thomas P. Zugibe said between January 9 and March 5, 2013, the defendant took approximately $5,040 from the Key Bank branch on Dutch Hill Road in Orangeburg where he was employed at the time.

Justin Rivera, 25 of Haverstraw was indicted by a county grand jury on charges on two counts of Assault and Criminal Possession of a Weapon. Rivera is accused of striking a 74-year-old woman with a plastic lawn chair during an argument on September 3. The victim suffered a fractured clavicle bone in her left shoulder.

Jacquan Dickerson, 22, of Middletown was indicted on September 11 for Burglary, Criminal Mischief, Grand Larceny and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in connection with a liquor store break in on August 30. Zugibe said Dickerson is accused of breaking into a Town of Haverstraw liquor store and damaging its window and front door. Wright allegedly stole stole several bottles of liquor worth more than $1,000. The damage to the store exceeded $1,500.

Derrick Hardy, 33, of Spring Valley was indicted on two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. Hardy was allegedly in possession of two bags of crack cocaine when he was stopped for traffic and vehicle violations on August 17 in West Nyack.
