Car Hits Front Wall of Sherwin Williams

The driver of a small sedan drove into the front wall of the Sherwin Williams paint store off Route 59 this afternoon. No one was reported in the accident.

The car caused part of the wall to fall into the store, shifted shelving and knocked paint supplies onto the floor. The store manager said fortunately no customers or employees were in that section when the accident occurred.

Clarkstown police were on the scene investigating along with the building inspector and fire inspector.
