With everyone whining about gun control, which only makes it more difficult for those of us who legally own one, what we need are not more laws, but a stricter enforcement of the ones we already have. I'm willing to wager that Mr. Dunn's pistol was not licensed. And if you re-read the article you'll find that "and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon", was one of the charges. Just what is the penalty for fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon? Most likely some kind of a joke and a "chip" to use when the court system Pleads out his arrest. Maybe some of you "Anti-Gun" people will now get the feeling of why we legaal owners are so angry.

This is down the street from me. Has anyone tried to get clarkstown to remove the community center at the end of the street? Also, that apartment building across the street from the community center on the street is where the shooting happened. This apartment building is a breeding ground for losers that don't work and just sit around looking for trouble. There has got to be a way to rezone the multiple dwellings in this area. Anyone have any knowledge or ideas on this?

Realworld....guns are not good regardless except for hunting, by policemen and the military...so I wonder...how did you feel abut the recent shootings in mass across this country....and I also wonder as we spend time considering the "mental" status of them, why you are so quick to send this man to jail forever? Just asking....

that is an ignorant thing to say , for one the man being accused they have no evidence against just the victim saying he did it . But in the " real world " people know that the victim didnt like dunn and this where the accusations stemmed from
