Nanuet Firefighters Seek Donations for Breezy Point FD

Breezy Point fire departments were destroyed by Sandy and lack critical equipment and supplies.

The Nanuet Fire Department is collecting donations for fellow volunteer firefighters who serve Breezy Point, the community decimated by Sandy's tidal surge and ensuing fires that destroyed over 110 homes.

Donations of fire equipment and medical supplies are needed. Clothing, blankets, and non-perishable food for firefighters and their families are also being collected. The Nanuet FD expects to deliver donated items to the Point Breeze Volunteer Fire Department on Tuesday, Nov. 6.

Drop off donations to the Nanuet firehouse on Prospect Street. Contact Vincent Pacella at 845-406-0570 for more information.
