New Square Rabbi Moshe Taubenfeld Pleads "Not Guilty" To Sexual Abuse

Rabbi Moshe Menachem Taubenfeld, 55, pleaded not guilty today to sexually abusing a male for five years, News 12 Westchester reports.

The rabbi was arraigned in Rockland County Court today on the charges that he sexually abused a male victim repeatedly from September 2001 until May 2006.

According to News 12 Westchester, Taubenfeld's accuser said went to the rabbi for counseling after the September 11th attacks.

Taubenfeld could face up to seven years in prison if convicted. He was released on $25,000 bail and is due back in court later in July.

"Taubenfeld's accuser went to the rabbi for counseling after the September 11th attacks". So, the rabbi thought, "the best defense is a good offense, so I'll attack him". Yes, that's exactly how this went down. Another hasidic rabbi just doin his thing, or better yet, not having control of his thing!
