Police Blotter: Incidents Around Rockland County

Arrests made in separate incidents.

Police in Rockland County reported arrests in several separate incidents:

- Phillip Desimone, 37, of 18 Bragaglia Drive, Stony Point, was charged with second-degree assault on Tuesday after an investigation showed he was wanted on a parole violation warrant, according to Stony Point Police.

Police said Desimone was turned over to the state Division of Parole.

- A 22-year-old Garnerville man was charted with unlawful possession of marijuana after he was stopped for traffic violations on Saturday, according to Stony Point Police. He faces a Dec. 20 hearingin Stony Point Town Court.

- A 25-year-old Stony Point man is charged with third-degree assault after an investigation of a domestic violence incident, according to Stony Point Police.

Richard Gooler of Grassy Point Road was arrested Saturday and is accused of injurying a family member. Gooler was arraigned in Stony Point Town Court and later released pending a Dec. 6 hearing.

Police said court-issued order of protection was put in place on behalf of the victim in this incident.
