Police: Heroin Found In Lexus With Bumper Hanging Off

N.J. man, 22, charged with drug possession on Route 9W.

A New Jersey man was arrested on heroin possession charges early Friday morning after his car was stopped on Route 9W because the rear bumper of the black 2010 Lexus SUV was hanging off, according to police in New Jersey.

PIP Police Officer Joseph Lanfrank spotted the car about 1:45 a.m. as he was leaving a PIP maintenance facility on Route 9W in Alpine, NJ., and stopped the Lexus thinking it had been involved in a recent collision.

Lanfrank reported that when he approached the driver, Joseph Parisi III, 22, of Englewood Cliffs, NJ., he could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the car. Police said that during a search Lanfrank found four bags of wax paper envelopes containing suspected heroin and two syringes.

Lanfrank reported he also found a plastic straw with white power residue.

Parisi was arrested and taken to PIP police headquarters and he was charged with heroin possession, drug paraphernalia possession, having an unsafe vehicle and possession of narcotics in a motor vehicle.

Parisi was later released pending a May 15 court hearing. Police said they did not determine how and where the Lexus sustained the damage.

Good job, PIP. Sometimes minor events are a tip-off to more serious crimes. No-one should give a rat's ass that he is the mayor's son, he has problems and the courts need to straighten him out. Obviously his indulgent parents are not doing a good job (what 22 year old kid drives a 2010 lexus that isn't indulged?), so time for the cops and the justice system to step in. Gives you pause to think how Parisi, Jr (the dad) is running the town, and his obvious missteps recently. Think its time to see if there can be a recall and get rid of this corrupt mayor and council. That should give Parisi, Jr. more time to focus on the obvious problems he has at home.
