UPDATE: Power Pole Fire Knocks Out Power on N. Middletown

According to O&R's map, there are 919 customers without power as of 1:30 a.m.

The power outage was reported around 11:30 p.m. on Monday night causing a power outage on North Middletown Road, according to Clarkstown Police. 

According to O&R's outage map, there are 919 customers without power on North Middletown Road just north of Ludvigh Road. as of 1:30 a.m. The site also says that power should be restored by 2 a.m. Tuesday morning.

An O&R representative said that a pole was on fire and that there were no downed wires. O&R is currently taking care of the situation.
