New York State Police charged a Hastings-on-Hudson teen with reckless endangerment of the first degree, a class D felony, after he traveled the wrong way on Interstate 87 in Ramapo, while intoxicated, and sideswiped a Daily News delivery truck.

Terence Bludeau, 18, was first reported by several drivers who spotted a black Jeep Cherokee traveling southbound in the northbound lanes on Interstate 87 in the Town of Ramapo on Monday, Nov. 25 around 1:45 a.m. Bludeau eventually sideswiped a Daily News delivery truck, which was headed north. The collision caused both vehicles to come to a stop, police said.

Police said Bludeau was uncooperative and pushed a state trooper while being arrested for a suspected driving while intoxicated (DWI). His blood alcohol content (BAC) was allegedly found to be .21 percent, resulting in an "aggravated DWI," for being over .18 percent BAC.

The driver of the truck was transported by ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital where he was treated for neck and shoulder pain. Bludeau was not injured in the crash, police said.
