Two Men Indicted in Rockland Burglary Spree

Men linked to incidents in West Nyack, Stony Point.

Two Rockland County men have been indicted by a grand jury in New City on charges linking them to a burglary spree that hit Stony Point and West Nyack.

Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Zugibe said the men are accused of bringing into homes and taking items including televisions, computers, electronic games, jewelry and U.S. Savings Bonds. Some of the jewelry was located at a pawn shop, Zugibe said.

William Sanchez, 23, of 103 Tomkins Ave., Stony Point, and Michael Poulard, 24, of 250 Fifth Ave., Nyack, are both charged with second-degree burglary. Both men are accused of breaking into a Hillside Drive home in Stony Point on Nov. 13, 2012.

Sanchez is charged with also breaking into a home on Strawberry Hill Lane in West Nyack and on Deer Run in Stony Point.

Sanchez and Poulard were arrested after an investigation by Stony Point Police.

Good job SPP..now hopefully the D.A. will prosecute and plea bargains are not accepted...this type of crime hits the law abiding citizen in the stomach and must be addressed as such... a serious felony.
