...the day for ♥
To the newly weds... Where Love Is Known, A Saint Valentine's Day Ode Where love is known And destiny makes its call Now I want to take you away Bring you to that place Where there are no doubts Where only conviction and faith preside Where obstructions are but momentary That place within my arms Now I want to take you away Bring you to that place Where there are no doubts Where you feel the vastness and closeness Where an embrace holds and frees you Where you live the beauty you are Where love is known And destiny makes its call. Rose Marie Raccioppi Poet Laureate Orangetown, New York "The popular customs associated with Saint Valentine's Day undoubtedly had their origin in a conventional belief generally received in England and France during the Middle Ages, that on 14 February, i.e. half way through the second month of the year, the birds began to pair. Thus in Chaucer's Parliament of Foules we read: "For this was sent on Seynt Valentyne's day Whan every foul cometh ther to choose his mate." For this reason the day was looked upon as specially consecrated to lovers and as a proper occasion for writing love letters and sending lovers' tokens."* * From:http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/15254a.htm

An issues conference will be a wast of time and money. So many ' issues ' have been pulled out ofRead More thin air. The people who organized against the plant will just keep saying the same thing. No amount of info will be enough, no answer will be accepted. The issues conference will be a circus of endless questions, ideas, and demands. Haverstraw bay reclassified as drinking water will better protect it, provide an endless supply of water and finally help end the stereotype of the Hudson being polluted Recommend

I see your point isnt so much about what they are spending it on, but the process that they followedRead More to get to this point, but are they getting generators for the street lights on main street or the traffic signals? Seems like a project that is way out of control, who has gone to these community centers during storms anyway. All I have ever read about was people charging cell phones at the community centers. Good Job Pat.
