A policy roundtable to help returning akes place today. Local veterans and business leaders will join State Senator David Carlucci at "Getting Our Veterans Back to Work" program.  Carlucci (D-Rockland/Orange) will host the region’s first ever Veterans' ThoughtRaiser, a policy focused roundtable to generate ideas and solutions to increase employment opportunities for armed forces personnel returning home.

The ThoughtRaiser will explore what the federal and state government is doing or not doing to better veterans prospects of employment in today's bleak job market.
