Incumbent Rolf Thorsen (D) was victorious over to Dan Weisberg (R) for the Clarkstown Town Justice on Tuesday.
Both Weisberg, 54, and Thorsen, 51, are from New City.
Results from elections officials in Rockland show Thorsen winning by a difference of 9,023 votes, 21,532 to 12,509. In Rockland County, 115,794 voters participated in Tuesday's elections. 100 percent of Rockland's election districts are in.
Thorsen said those who lead the ticket helped him win the re-election.
"I have Barak Obama on the top of the ticket," said Thorsen. "I have Congresswoman Nita Lowey on the ticket. I have Senator David Carlucci on the ticket. I have Assemblyman Ken Zebrowski on the ticket from Clarkstown. But to have these folks on the ticket ahead of me only bodes well for me."
As Rockland County Republicans watched election updates throughout the night at Casa Mia in Blauvelt, Rockland County Democratic Committee took over Town & Country in Congers.
